The Makenzie doctrine

On matters, current affairs, narratives about Makenzie a controversial pastor, are making rounds, on various main-stream media, often twisted to fit and favor the editors’ point of view. Despite that, if looked with a close keen eye, there is so much to learn and educate each on and so are there so many questions that beg an answer.

This is a case of brain washing and taking advantage of ones naivety and capitalizing on it, to attain and spearhead ones evil motive. As the investigation continue to unveil the motives, it about time, as a people and government took time and reviewed the freedom of worship clause.

Ones freedom of worship is paramount, provided nobody infringes your right or force one into doing something they are willing to or gravitate towards causing ones death. It true, amendments onto the constitution can’t be done over-night, yet we can take small steps towards its amendment.

Religion plays a crucial role in society, yet can be dangerous if left unchecked. A while back, the wife to a prominent Kenyan opposition party, once called upon the government to make regulations on churches stating;” we want Kenyans to subscribe to regions that formally registered and not those whose belief are commodified. It’s important that we conduct (the government) training for all those who minister the word of God.”

Her remarks, weren’t taken in good faith to an extent of she apologized and retracted her statement. Flash forward, the Makenzie doctrine is in motion, and more individual continue to be victim, both within the political sphere, religion, and even within our own family setup. How well it’s established depends on how rooted one is, the ideology and the “just following “mentality.

It’s saddening to learn; of the horror that his followers had to endure, yet beats common sense their leader wouldn’t confine himself to his own teachings on fasting and does the contrary.

As society it time we agreed that we urgently need to have a way of vetting anyone wishing to set up a worship center, since many are in the church business and  are capitalizing on it, foregoing nourishing the believe soul.

It important to state, the Makenzie doctrine, doesn’t just apply on religious practices only, yet we can see it being used in our political realm, people following blindly and failing to ask the important questions. Since, when society hears religion or idolize on an individual or a thing, their intelligence freezes, their capacity to ask questions evaporates  unbeknown to them ,they get entangled .

Every person MUST ask him or herself important questions what do I stand to gain, what do I have to do or sacrifice in the process, before subscribing to anything in this life
