Introversion

 

Within any social setup, one tends to come across persons of different personality. Whereby, one may either incline towards being an introvert, ambivert or an extrovert. As Carl Jung stated,” introverts tend to receive stimulation from within while extrovert receive their stimulation from the environment.” While an ambivert is someone exhibiting qualities of both and introversion and extroversion either depending on their mood ,context and goals.

I believe you have friend or a close relative or it could be you, who barely socialize, always quiet and often like being alone in solitude. For instant, while in a group set, one may notice while having small talk, a person, who tends to smile or giggle a lot, laugh when necessary but barely make a contribution or crack jokes. These traits are often portrayed by a person who is introverted in nature among other.

 Its importance to state introversion isn’t a disease or illness yet it’s an embedded coping mechanism within ones “DNA”. Therefore, it’s crucial, as a community living with persons who are introverted, to understand that there certain things that such a person cherish and hold value towards.

As introvert, tends to find small talks tiring, and energy draining more often, they wants to engage themselves in deeper   conversations that would make the genius in them, have the time of their life.

Such Conversation challenges and promotes their creative and critical thinking, rather than engaging in a conversation or talks that would be forgotten in a hurry.

Since, an introvert values they time, so, when one comes out of their space to engage in a conversation it means, they got limited time as per se, therefore diving into the matter is they most preferred way.

 Since, many a time, being misunderstood and pressurized to conform to certain standards or expectations is what their mostly despise.  

To an introverted person, hookup culture, gossip and unfounded topics, are a turnoff. Yet when engaged in something that really matter to their inner core, such a person will go an extra mile to accommodate you, and will even take you round the world on it and drop you back the same  place their picked you.
